Yup Loves sky high and Lord of Dogtown. And i loved him in Sea Biscuit, Music of the Heart and Little Secrets. Hes done a lot of good movies, and lets not forget Will and Grace! He sure has grown up fast, still think of him as a little kid tho. Hes turned 18 this year. Michael, your a man now!!!!!!!!! A bit off topic, but... And (don't know if it ever made it outside the US) a very young Michael Angarano in Cover Me: Based on the True Life of an FBI Family... and Almost Famous...

Oh yes, how could I forget Almost Famous....grew up into an 'almost as cute' Patrick Fugit! I think Cover Me was a TV movie, so i dont think it ever came out here, tho we get bombarded with loads of TV movies LOL I wonder if Rocky and Mike have lots of scenes together in Bondage. One thing im sure of is that this will definitely get a cinema release, just coz of Michael. Hes too big a star now to get a direct-to-video release.

You mean Bondage is released next month!!! OMG I need to go to the US!!!
I need to watch it now. I need my Rocky fix now!! Strange tho, i mean, Entertainment Weekly dont have it listed under their new releases for the new year. I just hope it isnt overlooked!!!!!
And a January 2006 release is just in time for Oscar consideration heheh I can dream!!!!! Well, it does sound like a male version of Girl, Interrupted. Or "Boy, Interrupted" in this case.
Yay, its just weeks away!! Cant wait...tho somehow i dont think it will be ready for 2006, coz wouldnt there be a trailer available by now or at least a website. I still think it wil be later on in the year...January is too soon!

It is a fast track and it did only have a budget of about $500,000...principle's started in August...you never know...and it is only one theatre (I think) in Los Angeles...but, ur probably correct...

LOL I don't think all the good ones are in the US... haha...did that Tuesday...of last week...AND got both of those too...plus Brothers Grimm, Four Brothers, Serenity, Rebound and Finally picked up season 1 of Battlestar Galactica...only because there was a $10 off coupon on Serenity...Kinda liked Cry Wolf too...I could think of someone else that would have done well in it though...hehe Not much out this coming Tuesday though...I think only Wedding Crashers...

dude this is so weird, but i also picked up Brothers grimm and serenity. But rebound? hehehe Yea, rocky wouldve been cool in cry_wolf. But that british boy wasnt half bad either. I love teen horror movies...i mean even the cheesy bad ones are fun to watch. its always fun guessing who the baddie is. This one was pretty PG though, i mean....no titties at all!!! All horror movies must have titties hehe Four Brothers is cool. I saw that one already....at first it didnt seem like my type of movie (gangsters, hood etc), but i saw the trailer, and revenge movies always kick ass, so i wasnt dissapointed. Ive currently got more DVDS than i can handle at the moment, sorta went overboard this week hehe I did get March of the Penguins a few weeks ago, i dont know why i bought it. Probably coz of the hype but i still havent gotten into the mood to watch it yet. There is always something better for me to put on. I mean, a frikkin movie bout penguins. I dont know if i can seriously sit thru 2 hours of that....critical acclaim or not!

dude this is so weird, but i also picked up Brothers grimm and serenity. But rebound? hehehe Hey, any chance to see Martin Lawrence get nailed is fun, but, the real reason I got it was for Tara Correa-McMullen...she was killed in October, it was a drive-by in Inglewood, and I had enjoyed her performance on Judging Amy...she was only 16 and on the road (despite Rebound) to a promising career...this was her first, and last , big screen appearance... hehe...funny thing is, we laready have it on dvd and the UK is getting it in the cinema on 1/13...same day Mortuary is opening here in Cali... and who wouldn't want revenge after me sainted Irish mother gets blown away...always have liked Fionnula Flanagan... hehe, know that feeling, I have several, okay a bunch of file boxes of dvd's I haven't watched yet...hey, I liked March of the Penguins...I watched it and it really went by quickly...won't say anything else cuz ya haven't seen it...I got Grizzly Man too...'bout a bunch of bears...don't even want to get started about the tv series sets i've bought either...

I seen grizzly man in the stores...im the sorta person who will watch a doc only if it gets nominated for an oscar. Jst so i can play along with the oscar game, see who wins etc. So far im planning to get MAd Hot Ballroom which is out, just havent bothered buying. And Ive seen Rock School...but i just realised that that wasnt shortlisted for oscar contention.
Ok, man, i went thru 5 movies this weekend. Burned a lot of calories on the treadmill. And yes, i actually went to the cinema to watch a few!
(a) Stealth was ok, not as bad as i wouldve thought, but a decent popcorn flick. Seen worse, seen better. Not a jamie fox fan. But it was ok i guess. One of those DVDs ive had for a while but hadnt gotten round to watching., so im glad i got it outta the way
(b) Exorcism of Emily Rose. Yes, this was good horror fun. It didnt get boring, no talky bits which i sorta wouldve expected. Love when a horror movie is done well. I can see the actress who played Emily rose getting a Best Newcomer nomination in the MTV movie awards this year. Laura Linney as always was good!
(c) Ringworld, I FINALLY caught north country. I was not dissapointed at all. I so want charlize to get her second nomination (and second win) for this. I love feel good movies, when good triumphs, when the underdog wins etc. You go girl. Sissy Spacek was awesome as usual, and Frances McDormand gave a good million dollar baby performance. And when charlize was driving to town to meet her company boss, she pass the Marquette Hotel. I cant beleive i actually read that in the background, as she was driving quickly passed it. But, it just stood out there to me. Its fate Rocky!!
(d) Chronicles of Narnia. This takes me back to my childhood. Loved it. No talky bits as well unlike the latest potter movie which bored me, and the King Kong Movie. Loved it, reminded me so much of being in grade school when we read the book in class. And one the kids shares my name......so i feel extra special. Not saying which one tho, LOL
(e) Cry_wolf. Ok this was ok as far as the teen horror genre goes. Cute boy. Ummm nothing too special else bout it. Can see why it flopped. And i dont buy Jon Bon Jovi in a horror movie. that sorta put me off. Speaking of Horror, beleive me, Hostel out this month is gonna kick your asses off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow, spent loads of my new year watching movies...and you know what. I have no regrets!!!! Im so glad i managed to get some good viewing in!

Okay, not even going to try quote that book...hehe...that's alot of time on the treadmill...since I don't normally do movie theaters I am looking forward to North Country and Narnia on DVD...besides, I like to make my own popcorn and no, not microwave...
Either way good job on the movie watching, especially good job on the treadmill...how many miles does that translate into?
Kinda hijacked this thread, hunh?
Well, hoping Rocky had a great time with his family in town and a HAPPY new year will follow...
