I believe there will be a screening of "The Bondage" sometime in October in Los Angeles. I don't have any other details. Unless it's part of a film festival (and I don't think it is) then it would basically be an industry screening. But I don't know yet.
I do know that it will be 15 minutes shorter than the one we saw at SXSW.

do u know which bits they cut out??? and why??? dude, october isnt that far away YAY!! and just in time for oscar consideration heheh No, I don't know what was cut yet. Generally there are a couple of reasons they do this. One is for time. Often they want it shorter. Another is because they feel that some scenes may be too confusing, or too raw or gross, or too polarizing, and that by eliminating scenes it broadens the audience for the film. Maybe makes it more mainstream. The screening wouldn't count for Oscar consideration, though. That would have to be a release in theaters. and hey, welcome back larry, i was thinking...where the heck has larry gone too...u hadnt posted here in a while.....!!! your always super cool for news and stuff like that! Aww...thanks. I just don't know enough about the other topics to join in. I did post about Stormbreaker but generally I only really feel I should post The Bondage info. do u know which bits they cut out??? and why??? dude, october isnt that far away YAY!! and just in time for oscar consideration heheh I got a bit more information I can post. It IS an industry screening, which basically means it's not "public." These are usually designed to allow potential distributors, maybe more producers (people with money), PR people, etc. to see the film and either sign on to help or to spread the word or just to create buzz in the business about it. All good stuff. That's what these are usually for. I don't know and can't say what this one is for specifically, but it's likely one or all of the above. It will be in early October.
