If your fan of the show "Bones" you might like this. Season 2 got a release in Australia and I was lucky enough to do an interview (Via Email) with the star who plays "Dr Zach Addy" Eric Millegan.
01: Season two had some very memorable episodes, ‘Aliens in a Spaceship’ and ‘Judas on a Pole’ coming to mind, do you have a few favourite episodes of your own, from an acting challenge or story content?
EM: My favourite is "The Man in the Fallout Shelter." That's the Christmas episode from season 1. I liked "Aliens in a Spaceship" too. I also thought the most recent one where Zack escaped from the mental hospital came together well. Of course, I like the ones that feature Zack a lot.
02: Zack goes through a bit of a transformation this season with not only look but also his career path. Was this your input or simply a creative decision by Hart Hanson?
EM: Everything is a creative decision by Hart Hanson.
04: How much of yourself did/were you allowed to bring to Zack?
EM: Well, I sing and finally, at the end of season 3, they let Zack sing so that was fun.
05: The show produces some pretty elaborate crime scenes and victims, is it hard working with bodies that look so realistic?
EM: It can be. The toughest to look at were the corpse that was dug up in "The Man on Death Row" and the little skeleton of the boy in "The Boy in the Bush," both in season 1. I almost threw up when I saw the former and I gasped and got choked up when I saw the latter.
06: Season two kicked off with the character loss of Dr Goodman (Jonathan Adams) and the addition of Dr. Camille Saroyan (Tamara Taylor). Was that a big surprise for you or something that was set in motion prior to the end of Season One?
EM: I didn't know about it until Hart called me and told me after we finished shooting season one. I was sad to see Jonathan go, but I absolutely love Tamara. It's too bad Jonathan has never come back as a guest star. I missed him and I miss Zack's relationship with Dr. Goodman.
07: The on screen chemistry between all the characters is always memorable and something we don’t see in many crime dramas these days. Is behind the scenes equally enjoyable as it seems on screen?
EM: Yes, it is. And even though I'm not on the show on a regular basis anymore, I still stay in touch with everyone. Tamara and I are going out together next week.
08: Recently you sung the National Anthem at a Trail Blazers game. How did that come about?
EM: A woman who used to work for both20th Century Fox and the NBA set it up for me. Her name is Arlene Getman. She's been amazing. She got me the anthem, got me into the NBA Entertainment League, and got me a blog on NBA.com. Yay, Arlene!
09: You finished a movie a while back called “The Phobic” Can you tell fans a little about the film and when they will be able to see it?
EM: It was a huge challenging role and I think that was a very good experience for me. Unfortunately, I don't think it will ever be released. That's show business.
10: Any message you’d like to add to your Australian Fans? (Are you planning on a trip down-under anytime?)
EM: I'd love to go to Australia. My older sister went recently and LOVED it. Loved the people. I want to thank the Australian Bones fans for watching the show. It's amazing to have fans all over the world. I was just in Germany and I got mobbed for autographs. It's crazy.
Namaste,
