Hi there gang! My first offical post in the rocky board for 2007 Just got back from the new years eve party (and straight onto the board hehe)....dinner was amazing, so much food, and the fireworks were sooo coool! So many people! And ok, i had my first drink of alcohol in over 10yrs, and dude...i dont know if this is a hangover or what..but im feeling woozy....way to kick of the new year in style hehe! and there were loads of white people in the hotel, loads and loads! One group of like late 20s and early 30s were there having dinner and brought water balloons! and at midnight, stripped to their boxers and jumped into the pool! I was like...mmm me likes hehe man, its almost 2 am, so sleepy now...need to sleep off this alcohol! Have a good celebration there folks! Remember, party hearty but be safe....drink and drive safely people, please! Lots of love for the new year!

Lucky you! And they did that in white? Darn. I think you had the best start to the new year out of everyone here. Unless someone can beat that.

hehehe yea, i think i had the best start.... suprisingly, considering i usually do NOTHING on new years...last year, i think iwas in bed before 12 midnite, and just got up in bed, just to be awake when the clocks turned, then went back to sleep hehehe you white guys sure do know how to party better than us asians...i mean, i was practically watching them party, instead of me partying myself

My parents are usually in bed when the clocks turn over. I'm just.. Awake, I don't party.. I don't like the huge new years partys here. Too many drunk and stoned people out, makes me feel unsafe.. @_@;;;;

drunk people scare me... especially drunk people in airplanes...having them that close to you in confined spaces, give me MAJOR panic attacks...i get soooooo giddy, i dont like that.... even the thought of it is giving me a panic attack.. same thing as drunks in the subway....scares me, coz u cant really run aways right, its a confined space!

just being close to people I don't know for long periods of time can cause panic attacks in me. Not as bad as it used to be though. thankfully.
My friend was once hit on by two drunk or stoned guys. They also asked for a ride.. Their exact words "Can you give us a ride 100 meters to____" (don't remember the place)... Ah man, she always meets strange strangers.
But drunk and high people on buses or subways are scary. My boyfriend often sees stoned guys on their way to work. And I remember when I was younger, I think 13 or 14 or something around there, the waiter at the restaurant was high.

i only get scared, coz i think that under the influence, or being intoxicated, they would do violent things and not even realise that they are doing it... crap nat, even talking about it, is giving me the heebie jeebies... and if a drunk asked me for a ride..id run away sooo fast dude....having them in close quarters just scares me to no end

I'd be more worried about them being sick on me than violent. If someone attacks me, I attack back searching for the nearest object to use as a weapon.
I'd not give a ride to anyone I don't know. I'd be too worried about being that close to a stranger.

nat, your NEVER supposed to give rides to strangers.... that would be as advisable as taking candy from them!
ive seen enough horror movies to know that is never a good idea...
in other news, i just bought the new Paris Hilton movie on dvd, "Pledge This".....u guys must be so proud of me!
