I remember back in high school, I was talking with a friend about the Silent Hill games and she told me her cousin got the game and was playing it, she watched and got horrible nightmares just from watching the game being played.. I've only seen parts of the game, but from what I heard it is incredibly scary. The Fatal Frame games are rather scary too. All of a sudden these demonic ghosts come out of no where and try to kill you. Its fun but creepy, if my PS2 would work properly, I could keep playing it. It is a puzzle horror game. And if you associate with characters, it will get under your skin. The graphics are fairly good, like FFX. I would love it if they turned it into a movie. They may it seems to be happening with a lot of the horror games lately, though they do not always do a good job...

being scared can be fun sometimes though. And in some games, the fear response can help your reaction. If you really want to get yourself creeped out, play it late at night Thats how I started playing Fatal Frame. Hehe.. or if you like to be up very late, the hour where a lot of "haunting" events take place, 3 AM. But any time when it is dark, and the home settles, craking and stuff, without people walking around or making lots of noise is great fun. You jump much higher if you hear something, some sounds you wonder "is it the game, or is that real...??"
I have an active imagination, so I scare myself quite a bit when I leave the game to go to sleep, but it is worth it in some ways.

The most recent RE game is for GameCube AND for PS2 I believe. It was one of those games they released on many different systems so more people would buy it. The older Resident Evil games, a good number of them are for PS.

I like those ones! They are a lot of fun, and the only way I will play a shooting game. But it is not too difficult to get used to console gaming, and it can let you waste away in the dark! When I get into a game, I tend to forget about everything but the game"Ohh.. I'll just finish this part, then go do something else" ends up being 5 hours. Besides, joysticks are not needed for those games! yay! Just a bunch of buttons to push

well, when i said joysticks, i did mean the console...see, i dont even know what their called! and yea, i kinda realise that u can easily waste a couple of hours on games, which is something that i dont need, ie another distraction.
I mean work, sleep and movies take up my whole day as it is, with gaming added in, what time do i have left!

Ohhh.. Okay. I believe the term you are looking for is "controller" But, if your time is already pretty much booked, don't get into video games, don't even start, unless of course you have amazing will power and can force yourself to stop playing in the middle of an exciting bit. I know I can't. In a game on the PC, I was at the final boss area, and I said I would just go and beat him. I should've called it a night... Two hours later, I had beaten the game. Heh heh.. It was not all my fault though.. It was the game makers for making the final battle so long!!

DUCK HUNT IS NOT LAME!!!
It was one of my favourite games! We had the gun too! that thing was so darn awesome! I miss it... they need to re-release it at some point, maybe with the Wii system. Apparently, you can mimic sword movements with the controller for that.. It will bring a whole new level to gaming
