Now I'm one who normally flicks in and out of the World Movie Chanel, never usually actually watching anything from it because I hate to read and watch at the same time. However this time the movie caught me in those few seconds and I was hooked into watching the whole thing. Set in a Nazi teenage male youth training facility in Germany during 1941 or 1942, we have two young boys from different upbringings who become very good friends. Although there ideals and views on the whole Nazi philosophy are very different, which sometimes strains the relationship. Without giving too much away we see one of the character turn his back on his father and his duty and the other loose everything he had worked for because he sways to his best friends way of thinking. With great acting and beautifully shot this is a great emotional roller coaster, and to get all that while reading through subtitles is a very good accomplishment. I highly recommend this to anyone. www.imdb.com/title/tt0384369/
