He walks alone, bare back full of scars Looking for the loved one that he lost to the stars One family set-up, two broken hearts, Three times three tails on the cat that left his marks
The rocks are his home, where he wanders to and fro She can never come, and he can never go Does he seek revenge on the father who beat his anger out? Or does he call for his lover, is his voice too hoarse to shout?
While his earthly remains aren’t hers, he’ll forever wander here No one tries to stop him, now he has no fear His mind says “Let her go”, but his heart’s too strong to leave He’ll stay here til he finds her, he’s never been naive
He walks alone, his back so full of scars He knows someday he’ll find her, the one lost to the stars They’re bound to be reunited, it’s a Heaven-made affair Death is just the start, the heart lives on forever

interesting very unique and good. Tell me, is it about a man once a booy beaten by his father? And the deceases women, is she his mother or perhaphs a lover? or a relative? and this man cannot decide to go on and live is life but by doing so in his eyes he is abanding her so he walks alone desperated and in confusion and despair, forsakened?

ur half right ...basically, it was inspired by a spirit I sensed one day. It's quite a Romeo & Juliet situation actually ... his father wanted him to marry this particular girl, but instead he fell in love with another girl (the one in the poem). Once his father found out, he took him to the You Yangs (a small ... i don't even know how to describe it ... they're not exactly mountains ... but anyhow ...) and beat him with a cat'o'nine ("three times three tails on the cat that left its marks"), telling him that, if he survives to make it home, he can marry who he wants. Sure enough, he died at the You Yangs, and now he's still wandering the area trying to find his beloved, but he doesn't realise she's since died.
