Not to sure if anyone has seen this yet, but I finished watching it today and I was way impressed. Gregg Araki has always been a fav director of mine, but this film just tops his films by far. He handled the subject matter tact-fully and did not go overboard, which was good for it could have been a sickening film if handled wrong. The cast was awesome and Joseph Gordon-Levitt was tremendous in a film that made him shine. A far cry from his usual comedy self in third rock. Brady Corbert who I had only every seen before in Thunderbirds was also good as the nervous type nerdy boy. Now some may not like the subject matter as it deals with pedophiles, but that is not shown. It is however the focus on the film and how two separate boys deal with it. If the subject matter wont offend, and the eye candy is appealing then check it out; you wont be disappointed.

it was never released here, i think coz of the subject matter. Not even on DVD! But i did manage to buy it overseas! Yea, it was a good movie - Joseph Levitt was good. I liked Brady as well (ever since i saw Thunderbirds).
Agreed, a difficult subject matter, but still a very powerful movie, that i would recommend to anyone who hasnt seen it yet.

Yep, thought it was good to, though not as good as the book of course... Brady's been on 24 this season...looks pretty bad too...was kind of weird though...still picture JGL as Tommy on 3rd rock from the sun or in angels in the outfield...

i thought Angels in the Outfield was cute! I loved that movie - really sweet! And Brady - another example of stocky-cute! Reminds me of that Andrew kid from Desperate Housewives! And that kid from Prison Break! They seem to follow the same templates - stocky, bordering on chunky, shaggy hair, dirty blonde!

I prefer him in Thunderbirds! and he was kinda hot in Thirteen too.

Thats so 80s Well, he's all of 17 so got a little bit to go...does look older though...that's too long? my hair was longer than that just before I got it cut...hehe... He was a bit chunkier in Thunderbirds, so, we are back to ur guy in desparate housewives again...hehe *ringworld throws his denim jacket into the closet again* Oh, really...i'm seeing that again around here...Though a blazer and jeans looks just as strange to me as a jean jacket and jeans looks to you...
