After years and years of speculation a new Mad Max is finally going ahead. Helmed by original director George Miller the film will start production sometime in 2010 and will be filmed in Sydney Australia. Good for Sydney who recently lost the film Green Latern due to the stronger Australia dollar. Word going around is that new Aussie megastar Sam Worthington is being sought after for the new starring role, but no one has made a statement from the Worthington camp yet.
Mel Gibson at present will have nothing to do with the role that catapulted him to stardom.

are the first 3 worth watching? I can honestly say ive never seen any of them in the series, and I dont think i would...not my sorta movie. Nothing appealing bout them anyways. I did like the Tina Turner song from the last one tho....

I very much enjoyed the Mad Max movies. Mel Gibson did a really good job acting in them.

I loved the first two - number three was a little out there but I still enjoyed it a little.
