Gabriel was OK, and that is dedication on the film makers part; however I am thinking that "The Crow" is there favorite film. There were several similarities to that with Gabriel and at some times I felt like I was watching The Crow.
**
I am hooked on a TV show at the moment called "Sons of Anarchy" You should check it out; the lives of a outlaw Harley club. Really impressive series.

Yes, AMAZING movie - Loved it, loved it, loved it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Action, hotties, no boring talkie bits, explosions, fights, space ships - what more can u ask for (and I managed to take pics with the cast a few weeks ago at one of the European premieres....... JJ Abrams is the NICEST man ever......so is Simon Pegg.....Quinto and Pine NOT SO...im still dissapointed over how UN-FAN friendly Quinto and Pine were....soooo dissapointed! And Zoe Saldana is frikkin GORGEOUS in real life - the movie screen doesnt do her justice.....

Quinto and Pine NOT SO...im still dissapointed over how UN-FAN friendly Quinto and Pine were....soooo dissapointed! Maybe they were having a bad day; they were in a lot of countries on a month long tour. But should at least make an effort I guess. *** Take - 4/10 - Had to few moments, quiet predictable and slow. And NO ROCKY. lol TV: Sons Of Anarchy Season 01 - 8/10 - Really impressive show with a great cast including the English Q.A.F actor Charlie Hunnam. Bit of a change for him, but it suits him.

yea, LOVED IT!!!! Chris Pine was the right amount of cocky, Simon Pegg was fun (but not as funny as his alien sidekick), Quinto was a HOT spock.... and Karl Urban was strangely like-able, I thought he would be too action-hero'ish! (but I was wrong!)... And ok, i cant stop myself from saying "Wictor Wictor" all day hehehe

Gran Torino - it was ok....im surprised it made SOO much in the US box office...really suprised by it. That Asian boy cant act can he....and i was sorta hoping Clint Eastwood waould sneak in the Oscar nom....too bad he didnt! Let the Right one in - Cool movie...they made it look really 80s' ish....maybe coz of the kids hair and the clothes he wore (super short shorts anyone?)....Critics loved this movie...and i can see why....but the lack of gore makes it a B+ movie instead of an A movie. The American remake is being made right now as we speak...urgghh Last movie i watched? Terminator Salvation...OMG dire dire dire movie, such a dissapointment.....NO chase scenes at all! And chase scenes are what makes the Terminator movies what they are...the whole baddie robot hunting down the good guys...NOT ONE decent chase scene in this more. It makes the urggh terrible T3:Rise of the Machines amazing by comparison. Anton Yelchin is so wasted in this

Two theater movies: - Night at the Museum 2
- Land of the Lost
Night at the Museum sequel was entertaining...Land of the Lost was very stupid. An interesting thing happened at the movie theater. My friend and I were standing beside a poster of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. We were talking about how much the kids have grown up. I turn to face my friend, when I saw a doppelganger of Rupert Grint/Ron Weasley standing a few feet away. This kid was wearing the exact same outfit as Rupert was wearing in the poster. The only difference was the t-shirt underneath was white, instead of red. The kid's hair was shorter. I was tempted to go up to the kid and say, "Are you Ron Weasley?"

The Unborn (2009) - 8/10 Surprisingly good
Lesbian Vampire Killers - 9/10 Will become a cult classic
Friday The 13th (2009) - 7/10 It was OK, but Jason was to smart in it. I preferred him as a mindless killer - To have a lair and a purpose made him like every other serial killer out there.
Mutant Chronicles - 6/10 Had some moments, but overall kinda average.
The Devils Tomb - 4/10 I thought because Cuba Gooding Jnr was in it, it would be half decent. Wrong. week story that has been told over and over and...
War Wolves - 4/10 Poorly made and edited piece which has some segments that look out of order.
I've been on a movie watching week as you can tell.

ok, first off, Jon, I wanna see Night At The Museum 2, and normally I don't like Ben Stiller that much, but the first one was really funny, and this one has the slapping monkey in it too, haha!
Secondly, I saw Doubt on DVD last night. It's a little slow, but keeps you captivated. A brilliant movie in my opinion. And, even though they were filmed relatively close to each other, it's amazing how different Meryl Streep looks in this compared to Mamma Mia. Totally different character too, which shows just how great she really is!
For TV shows, I seriously can't get enough of Law & Order: SVU and CI at the moment ...
Nightflyer, with your movies, I kinda agree about Friday The 13th (which, btw, is the 12th movie in the series, not a remake. The 13th is being filmed at the moment, I believe). It was a good movie, but yeah, lacked the momentum and spontaneity that the others had.
The Unborn, I have been told, is pretty boring, but I'll still have to check it out.
What is Mutant Chronicles?
