well if u know that Deuce Bigelow movies are using it, then it really is played out to death Thats a movie i wanna see - FD3! It opened big this weekend, but i cant beleive that Pink Panther just edged it out! Nothing bout that Pink Panther movie that i wanna see - but the Beyonce song is cool tho! Even the Curious George movie looks cute enough to watch (but i wont!) - just seen some really nice pics of the movie posted on the net! I never did read the curious george books as a kid tho, so im not really too familiar with it!

Yeah, I am looking forward to FD3 too...I have no interest in seeing the Pink Panther movie either...I like Steve Martin, but just one remake that I have to think back to Peter Sellers and say no to the new one... Don't want to see Curious George either...Never read the books either...I didn't read "kiddie" books when I was young, I read Jules Verne, Poe, H.G. Wells, etc...

yea right dude, you read Jules Verne, Poe etc when you were in grade school Well, at least you read - All i read were comics! *dude, i have the biggest Archie comic collection this side of the US* * Ive got even more Archie comics then i got DVDs* *got some over 20 years old* *so proud* The thing is, i love horror movies, but usually the people i go with (including some girls from the office) hate horror. theyre so chicken! So theyre like, i dont wanna go see that, its scary! Dam! Nothing beats a horror movie on the big screen! There is even an urban legend that the Mall cinema here is haunted ever since they showed this scary movie last year - i mean dude, how lame is that! these people get scared off by anything! If you wanna talk scary - hows this! During a 'late' showing of Land of the Dead, i had to get up to pee, and the movie toilet is all the way to the end of the cinema, so it was an empty cinema, dark, rainy, and images of zombies were in my head, and i had to run off to pee! Now thats what i call scary! (well sorta )

dude, how can i not see Land of the Dead - its Simon Baker heheh Kidding, i saw it coz it was a horror movie, and Dawn of the Dead was kick-ass so i really expected it to be better. And dude u dont read archie comics? Too bad! I tell you - here, every kid grows up reading archie comics! Where else do you think we got our first dose of americana from. We learnt it from Archie and Jughead and Betty and Veronica! They taught us bout going to the prom, hanging out in the diner, the virtues of the mall etc The market for DC comics and marvel comics is very, very , very small here. Its almost non existent! No seth cohens running around here

oh yea, good old harvey comics. We used to get them back in the day! Havent seen one here for over ten years (at least!). Im so sure theyre outta print or something!
But no matter what you say, comics to me will always be Archie comics! Theyre such a big part of my childhood and teenage years! My family even sent me some in my care packages when i was in college! I still get em (very rarely tho) once in a while!
I could never appreciate Marvel and DC - no not coz they were violent. I think more so coz they were always in a series, and so you had to make sure you got every issue! With archie comics (i always bought the digests), the stories were wrapped up nicely every digest, so u didnt need to get EVERY issue. It was fine to skip a few inbetween!

Well, they went better with the regular reading (like I mentioned) and, yes, they were in series form...which I liked...kept the story and that going on and on...

I did end up with glasses as a kid tho, usually associated with a kid who reads a lot! Maybe it was all that tv! i need sleep people! I know this is off topic, but imagine facing the beginning of a 8 hour work day when you feel as tired as this! I just wanna go to zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
