i know i said i wanna go to theme parks, but im scared of rollercoasters. i wanna go on the normal rides, the water rides, just nothing with a 360 degree loop! im a baby, so sue me! hehehe Yeah, then you could go to Hurricane Harbor next to Magic Mountain...or Raging Waters...or we could just hit the kiddie areas at any of the theme parks...oops, I hate to say this, but I think you may be too tall... I was just looking at my "bogo" coupon for Magic Mountain and wouldn't you know it, it expires May 31... See, now you should go to Minnesota and go to the Mall of America...4.2 million square feet....more than 520 stores....more than 86 restaurants...and 14 movie screens...best part is that Minnesota does not have sales tax on clothing! There you go talking food again...hehe

i didnt wanna mention planning to go to the Mall of America, coz i was worried that you wouldve thought that i was lame! but dude, that was first on my list. Im such a sucker for Malls, and an American mall no less. think of all the stores we dont get here!!! Im so excited. Me and my brother were joking, that our luggage wouldnt be filled with clothes or shoes etc, we would stock up on american groceries and candies! I hate how cheetos costs and arm and leg here. Man, if customs x-rayed our luggage at the airport, they would be like..."are you setting up your own convenience store"?
And you know something....ive travelled all over asia, and we have McDs, KFC, Taco Bell, Wal Mart, Target, Abercrombie, Starbucks, CoffeBean etc etc etc. BUT I HAVE YET TO FIND A FREAKING GAP STORE!!!!! In the UK they are on every corner, but here noone seems to want to open a GAP store. I love the GAP!!! Tho even the SMALL size is too big for me heehe I just love the style!
oh well

I was thinking of getting the largest size in Gap Kids (maybe XL) and trying to see if that woud fit! But its embaressing! LOL I really wanna ask Rocky where the best place to get clothes is in the US since he is my height! I just drown in most US sizes, even size small!!! Abercrombie muscle-fit size small is just right for me tho, so not all brands are bad. I just have to get slim-fit clothes in size small for a regular fit! i do love malls, but not too sure on buying online! I love trying on clothes before i buy!

I was thinking of getting the largest size in Gap Kids (maybe XL) and trying to see if that woud fit! But its embaressing! LOL Why? Do you know how many times I wished I was shorter so I could get "the cool clothes"!!! I can't even get Volcom jeans cuz they are too short... Then it's too bad you don't have Gap...but I do recall seeing a picture and he was wearing American Eagle Clothing...I'm sure you don't have those either...but A & E is good, if not overpriced... i do love malls, but not too sure on buying online! I love trying on clothes before i buy![/quote] This is where I guess I am lucky...I know the cuts and can order all my clothes online...

we get american eagle here too, but i never checked that brand out really well thats a good idea, ill just look at every pic of rocky and then see what he wears, what brands and then copy his style wonder if he needs to hav stuff taken in as well? well pants and jeans aint a prob for me, coz they come in the right lengths, its the shirts that are a prob. i drown in most of them, so i need to hav em taken in if i really like the shirt, but it is big! my tailor knows what to do....make em nice and fitted and snug

actually i got the money saved, just dont feel like blowing it all on a vacation - but with my manila trip, coz our currency is sooo strong, i actually felt Loaded, i couldve bought so much more. I felt guilty to be honest, as most people there dont hav a lot of stuff and money. I can imagine all the British people and american people who go there....they must feel like millionaires coz their currency is sooo strong. Seriously, u go there and u can buy anything. I went to see Underworld 2 there in a high class cinema (not your ding-y ones) and it cost me like US$2 !!! and a meal in a proper good restaurant costs u like US$3 - its ridiculous how everything is sooo cheap!
And bootleg DVDs - good quality ones are like 7movies for US$1 !!!!! its amazing how cheap some of the stuff were......i just felt bad seeing the poverty there, when i was out splurging and shopping and stuffing my face!
Not as many americans or british people there as i thought, almost no foreign tourists. It was soo strange. In thailand, the white people outnumber the asians like 5 to 1, but theyre were absolutely none in philippines. that made me wonder why...

I forgot about that guilt thing...I just say "I can't take it with me, so why not spend it" hehe... I know the feeling...I saw some Japanese tourists and it was like a kid in a candy store... wow, would be nice...uh, you have popcorn with that movie? hmmm...well, since I don't go to the cinema I don't worry about it, but my asst and her brother went and by the time they were done is was $33 for the 2 of them... ahhh, bootleg, hunh...tsk, tsk...well, it's all over...I see stuff here on tv that shows children that are lucky to eat once a week...have one set of clothes (barely) no shoes, etc... I think there is still a travel advisory to the Philippines...

eeeek $33 dollars for two people to watch a movie! and thats in US dollars too! f**k! for that price, we can go out for dinner here as a family in a good restaurant. US prices are ridiculous! And hey, i did hav pop corn! thanks for asking. Got Kettle corn...is that a US brand or a flavor. Whatever it is, it was SOOOO yummy...not too sweet, not too salty! f**k that was like one of the best pop corn i ever had. I just bought everythin americana! im such a sell out heheh yea, poverty was quite rife in the philipines, but it wasnt as bad as i remembered. i think they just cleared up the toursity areas......just so it looked better for the foreigners. Just never been to a place with such a notable absence of caucasians before. weird!

I got a breakdown...medium soda and medium popcorn was $9...the candy, large box was $5 each...and a student ID was used to get in with a coupon and a matinee...hehe... and as I said, that was per person... Kettle corn is basically like it sounds, but they add a ton of sugar to the mix (in a kettle of course) and then salt it just right so to have a perfect mix of sweet and salty... hehe, well, just be glad you don't live in that...

I just had the last bad of Kettle Corn that i brought back home! Man, that was YUMMY! Dude, im in love with Kettle Corn now, i cant go back to just having the regular sweet popcorn that we get here. The sweet and salty is such a good combination!! And here i am sitting here, just had lunch, and drinking on my Milo (choco milk! for desert) and im thinking of popcorn! Im so bad! So bad at this diet! I did find a big lump of sugar in my kettle corn the other night tho, so it wasnt very pleasant! But dude, it wont detract me from my newfound love of kettle corn
