On my way to work today, I saw a huge billboard promoting the new X-Men movie!!!!!! It comes out 25th May!!!
Here's what Village Cinemas have to say about it:
The X-Men - mutant heroes sworn to defend a world that hates and fears them - must face evolution itself in the form of their former teammate, Jean Grey (Famke Janssen). Possessed with the cosmic power of the Dark Phoenix, the resurrected Grey has become a danger to herself, her mutant comrades, and the entire planet.
To stave off this threat to humanity, a potential cure is discovered that could treat and ultimately eliminate genetic mutations, once and for all. As the battle lines are drawn, the X-Men, led by Professor Charles Xavier (Patrick Stewart), are aided by new recruits like The Beast (Kelsey Grammer) and Angel (Ben Foster).
Together they must contend with Grey's new powers, as well as the malevolent Brotherhood - a band of powerful mutants organized under Xavier's former ally, Magneto (Ian McKellen).
I cannot WAIT to see it! I mean, Beast AND Angel ... plus Dark Phoenix of course ... wonder who else will be in it, if anyone!

i wanna watch it....definitely. The first xman was amazing and the 2nd one was good too. My favorite character is and definitely always will be Mystique. She is so kick-ass, and even when she doesnt say anything, she is the meanest mother-f**ker!! I have her action figure *displays it proudly* I dont get the hugh jackman love tho - i dont find him attractive in the least. I do like pyro tho (ever since i saw him in Tadpole!) And i wish they got someone else to play angel...Ben Foster is ok, but id much prefer someone else!

question - now what (sorta) movie would drag you out to the cinema finally...
What movie would you be willing to fork out the big bucks for.... It has to be an event movie, something big...something massive, like Titanic. Im guessing for ringy, it would have to be the Transformers movie...now that is one movie that I DEFINITELY have to see on the big screen, no matter what!!!!!

I've been hanging for months for this one, ever since I saw the initial trailer. Like the other 2 this one will rock.
Ringworld: Do you have the whole cinema set up at home. Plasma, 6.1 sorround?
I do and it's probably why I only see the main flicks at the theartes.

Some Jerk on IMDb posted all the spoilers from the junior novel. A ass kicking is needed for this guy. Spoilers before it has opened is a huge no no.

Definitely. Uggh, I mind as well stay away from IMDb unless Ive seen the movie already lol. You wouldnt believe how many movies were spoiled because of some troll who gets a kick out of posting spoilers. And to make it worse, they stick the spoilers in the titles.. I think I almost went insane the day someone ruined Revenge of the Sith for me... what a dark day that was. lol

Its a shame, cause IMDB is such a great sight. Might have to do as you suggested, stay away until you've seen the movie. Have you checked out joblo.com/ Good movie sight and usually warns about spoliers.

dude, that is so weird...but i go to joblo.com everyday. I didnt know u were a joblo'er too heheh And yea, i think people who post spoilers without warnings should be shot!!!!!! Seriously, i get so mad if a movie is spoilt for me! thats like a major no-no for me! Question matt - u said Revenge of the Sith was ruined for you coz someone posted something without a spoiler warning...umm just wondering, but your saying you didnt know that Hayden would turn into Darth Vader? I didnt think that there was anything to 'spoil' given that episodes 4-6 were out before Sith. And im glad you all are movie buffs in here Your my type of people!

Shallowboy, When I say Revenge of the Sith was ruined for me, I meant with things like: Does Padme live or die, does Yoda and Palpatine finally duke it out, certain things like that.
