well i grew up in NZ....left when i was a kid still. But had my first formal education and stuff there (hey, why do u think i got perfect english language skills ehehe ) well, when your a kid your too young to realise the difference between white folk, asian folk etc....when your a kid, people are just people. and the 'fear' grew as i grew older - i blame living in the Uk for it. Not new zealand - i know i can say this, coz no english people in here. but some of them are just plain rude - the American people on the other hand that i knew when i used to live in UK, now they were good kids. super friendly, and really nice!!!!!! american people are so awesome - well the ones i used to know in the UK. they rock. british people = well, thats a diff story altogether!

you live with a british dude? Umm are u in a dorm or something?
I used to live in a dorm with loads of british people. The first group i had was the worst (maybe they just put me off british people for life!!!!) I didnt really fit in well with them! We had a black lady in the house, and they literally drove her out - i felt really bad! At least i had it a lot better!
the next year was better, the guys in my dorm were awesome, a little too much fun i think - we partied a lot and i think my grades suffered coz of that. But they were really party animals, and we had an american chick living with us too, who was the coolest.
the next year, had an all british group living with me...mostly chicks, but they were cool! We didnt mix around much (as in hang out)...just usually met up with most of them in the common room/kitchen. So at least it didnt affect my studies much.
but yea, British people are scary - such heavy drinkers and cant stand the accent. And they leave a mess in the kitchen!!!

No, my mom's boyfriend is British. He flew over here last summer to be with her. My lord he is annoying though! On the way home from the trip he was singing to Guns and Roses... dear lord! Not only do I HATE that band, but his annoying voice screaming over it just made it worse. And to top things off, I was sick that day and really did not want to hear anyone...

Are you kidding Leigh? It's awesome. Imagine waking up in the morning and breaking out into a fight and say: " By jingoes! Buzz off you bushwacker! I'm too bushed and I feel like Ive been in a bingle! So buzz off and bite ya bum bloke so I can view the box and later cook some shrimp on the barbie!" ..awesome.. ROFLMFAO
