Well, I have started to try and make chain maille. The type of armour from way back when. Why? I really do not know. As of yet, the best I can make are simple sheets of maille.. But it is not easy, not easy at all. Hands get all blistery, and sore.. Anyways, here is a picture of one thing I made, it is a 6-1 pattern. Hopefully soon I will be able to make something a little more complicated. I have a larger piece I worked on, but I can't find it. Just thought I would share my 'strange' hobby with everyone here. ;D But it is good fun to make. When I get a bit better at making this stuff, I will be able to do designs on it! I've seen some pretty cool things people can make.

Yup. A very common piece of armour. It could also be worn under plate for extra protection. Since it is no good against arrows, for what I hope is an obvious reason, the plate fixes that, and then the maille underneath helps with the sword. Frodo's mithril chain is also a type of maille. I'd try scuplting, but well.. I tend to do really really well for part, then mess it up on another part, try to fix it.. then get irritated and scap the entire thing.

im not artistic at all, tho i aspire to be. my parents used to tell me that i used to draw really well, when i was a kid - but then again, all parents are encouraging to you when your a kid! i guess, the only artistic side of me, comes out when it comes to redecorating the house. I love painting my room, moving stuff around, hanging up shelves and stuff, buying accessories...yea, im THAT gay i do love decorating. I love doing up my room especially...its so cozy now u would love it

Yeah they do. My parents, however, still have a poster I did in elementary school on their wall.. I think it was from grade 4. Then in grade 8, a picture I did was on the wall of the school for a long long time, AND was on display at a festival at the harbour front, since it was a picture of a story character, and it was a reading festival... yeah.. one of the most embarassing things for me.
I'm pretty good at that stuff too! IT IS SO MUCH FUN! I am helping a lot with the renovations of our house, including the dirty work, like sanding the drywall mud. Wee.. I like getting all dirty via work. Then making the area look all pretty. My room can be all nice and cozy when I keep it all neat.. usually it is just me bed that is cozy, since I sometimes make it nest-like.

i paint my room like every year - i love changing the mood of my room. Its dark brown now - very cozy, and the best color so far. i doubt i will change it. A darker color really does make a smaller room really more cozy and intimate.
its hard hard work painting a room, but dude, its well worth it - plus its good exercise!

Thanks Matt!
I want to make my room almost.. cave-like in apperance.. It will work well with all the dragons I have hanging from my ceiling. 23 are up there now.. when I get the replacement, there will be 24...
YAY DRAGONS! I should locate some of my dragon sketches and post them.. I drew one the other night in class instead of paying attention.. though somehow I still managed to know what was going on.. Ah well

That movie sucked. It was so boring and lame. The best part was when they were reinacting The Empire Strikes Back for the children.
