im a kid at heart like you wouldnt beleive. I cant believe im actually the age i am, coz i really dont feel mature at all!!! I still think like a teenager which is so weird, when everyone my age is with wife and kids! Im just not that mature yet! i wish i could be 14 again! I hate being an adult!!!!!!!!!! hehe, you and me both...ah to be a kid again...just as long as I remember everything I know now...wouldn't want to have to go through all that school crap again... Hmmm, thinking about it, what time period would you want to be 14 again in? I am thinking that the 50's would be nice as people got out more, did more family stuff...didn't live in front of the tv unless you had the $$$ to afford one...mostly kids were out playing baseball, stickball, whatever...I would just have to get by without a computer...hehe...

But being a kid has its share of probs - its just we never learn to appreciate wat we got till...blah! blah! blaH! u know how it goes! i would rrather be a kid now tho, instead of back in the 80s. We got cable now, satellite tv, internet! we barely had video games when i was a kid. you got more cooler stuff now !

Ah, a true technocrat...hehe...you mean you wouldn't give up all that technology for a nice, low-tech life...what, you no lika da base-a-ball...hehe...just think of the fact that there was less childhood obesity, back then too...no sitting in front of the tv playing video games for hours at a time...

but i grew up in that era dude - no vid games, just the one channel on tv. Watched the occassional Disney video on vcr. Spent afternoons reading and doing arts-and-crafts with my sister (this was before my brother was born). When my brother was born - he got the video games, cable tv, satellite. I just happened to grow up at a more innocent time - me and my sister were really book readers back then.... and we played outdoors a lot. We had that perfect childhood - no corruption etc etc. Everytime i read the 'Baby blues' comic strip it reminds me of my childhood (except for the new baby is a boy and not a girl!)

That's what I mean, but you weren't the sports dude...the innocent times, that's what I miss...but, were they really all that innocent or was it just that one didn't hear about it as much?

it was definitely more innocent dude Kids now get corrupted by the internet, video games and movie violence. Back then, we only had PacMAn, Asteroids, Space Invaders - stuff like that! And the violence in those games were soo heavily pixelated, it was like watching Lego people attack each other . Games are so much more graphically violent now. I do regret not bein a sports kid - that why i was really heavy as a kid. I was more into indoor stuff, like books, comics, eating! I tell u , if i was a thin kid - my self confidence would be so much better than it is now! but i still say, i grew up in the better era! I turned out ok - turned out with an eating disorder, but at least im a nicer person for it

Anyways, its cool that shes into cars - i guess she has to make up for most of the guys here, who are NOT into cars heheh [/quote] hehe, I know a few guys like that...one actually had to call his motor club cuz he didn't know where the spare tire was on his truck...hehe...I did rub it in a lot when his wife told him where it was when we were talking about it...he just had such a look on his face...hehe
