Like Milla, I loved Dead Silence; it was the first film in quiet a while that I did not pick the ending. And the Aussie Ryan Kwanten was pretty impressive - probably why he got the True Blood gig.

like i said it was just ok....if u want a 'punch-in-the-guts' movie....go watch Death sentence. Seriously, they went all out in that movie.....they just went for it, no holds barred...really gets to u. Sorta like the vibe that Funny Games left with me - disturbing n thought provoking.
Dead Silence on the other hand....seemed like any other movie id watch on dvd on a raining sunday morning!

Eden Lake - Thats a movie i never forgets. Really sad. The grudge 3 - Look at our lille famous ghostboy from the first movie, he was sooo scary. And they used the same boy for the 3rd movie. He has growed alot... Ghost DONT grow.. It looks stupid. Really. Saw V - Nothing beats the first one The Midnight Meat Train - You are actually right. Its the endning thats ruining everything. I would love to see Death sentence. Would be the next project.

I was sorely dissapointed by the Friday 13th (remake) - not coz it was a bad movie per se, but because I made the stupid decision to watch it in the cinemas here. Here, violence and gore are censored in the cinemas (along with tits and sex!)...so i saw like a PG Version...with almost NO blood and all the good stuff.. So i think that basically spoilt the whole thing for me. Remind me next time that if i wanna watch a horror movie in the cinemas here....WAIT for the dvd instead.
Oh Milla....Death Sentence is SOOOO good...but its gonna make u feel sooo bad in some of the scenes...they just did a lot of stuff u dont see in movies. At one point (without spoiling it for u) I actually thought...this cant be happening, this cant be real...it has to be a dream-sequence within the movie and the dude is gonna wake up and realise he was just imagining it or something, but it wasnt!!! Real gut wrenching stuff....!

I watched "Shutter" the other day, I had not rented it becuase I just couldn't be bothered with another American remake of a foreign film. I go through it, only becuase Joshua Jackson was in it and I really liked him in cursed. As for the film - it was way predictable and totally what I expected from the US remake.

The movie "Dead Silence" did give me the creeps, especially when the guys were in the room with all the dummies and they started turning their heads. That was really spooky.

Ohh yeah I just watched Death Sentence yesterday evening... Omg its an exiting movie, and Kevin Bacon is sooo cool in this movie. I cried a little bit in the endning, i think its because I felt so sorry, for that poor man. He lost everything because of these gangmembers.

thats such a sad truth Milla! Watched 2 silly teenage horror movies this week - 'Homecoming ' and 'Tormented'...both quite generic and very direct-to-video hahah Homecoming is like 'Misery' with teenagers...and 'Tormented' is like any other horror movie where teenagers get killed one by one..... you know what tho - Im not complaining...these are the sort of movies I love to watch !!!!
